Mr Terry Welch has moved over to Maryborough District Health Service as CEO, previously CEO at Yarrawonga District Health Service.

Professor Shane Thomas, Associate Professor of Executive Director of International Academic Engagement at Monash University is moving to South Australia to become the new Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) at the University of Adelaide.

Ms Rebecca Graham has been promoted within SA Country Health Local Health Network; previously Executive Director of Mental Health, she is taking on the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Dr. Andre Nel has moved to Western Health as Executive Director Medical Services. Dr Nel was previously in a similar role at Bendigo Health.

Professor Ian Jacobs has just started as the new Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of New South Wales, moving to Australia from his position as Vice-President and Dean at the University of Manchester and was the Director of the Manchester Academic Health Science Network.

Mr Matt Kropman has moved from his role at Director Junior Medical Workforce with Northern Health and has accepted the position of Director Medical Workforce with Alfred Health.

Mr Tim Daniel has moved over to Greenslopes Private Hospital as CEO. Previously he was CEO at Westmead Private Hospital.

Professor Anton Peleg has become the new Professor-Director of Infectious Diseases at Alfred Health; he was previously Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology at Alfred Health and Monash University.

Ms Lexie Spehr the Executive Director and Director of Nursing at Redcliffe Hospital has taken on the position of Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery of Metro North Hospital and Health Service.

Mr Leon Berkovich has recently joined Southern Sun Healthcare as their new Chief Executive Officer. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer for GE Healthcare.

Mr Martin Bean who has been the Vice-Chancellor of The Open University in the United Kingdom since 2009 has returned to Australia to take up the position of Vice-Chancellor and President of RMIT.

Professor Elizabeth Forbat, a Reader in Cancer and Palliative Care at the University of Stirling is moving to Australia to become Professor of Palliative Care at the Australian Catholic University and Calvary Health Care ACT.

Dr Aaron Groves is moving from the Mental Health division of the North Metro Area Health Service in Western Australia to take up a position as Chief Psychiatrist in South Australia.

Mr Tarun Bastiampillai has recently accepted the position of Director Mental Health Strategy with South Australia Health.

Ms Helen Palmer has recently moved from Capital Day Surgery to the position of Perioperative Services Manager with Calvary Health Care Riverina.

Ms Kerryn Dillon has moved from a role as Director of Broadreach Employee Relations to take up a role as General Manager People & Culture with TLC Aged Care.

Dr Christine Bessell will shortly leave her role as Executive Director Medical Services at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne to take up the position of Executive Director Medical Services at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital.
