Who’s Moving (January 2018) tracks who has moved careers in the healthcare, academic and life sciences sectors globally.

Adjunct Associate Professor Naomi Dwyer  is leaving her position as CEO, Women’s and Children’s Local Health Network in Adelaide to join Sunshine  Coast Hospital and Health Service as their new CEO.

Dr Bill Kingswell joins Barwon Health as Clinical Director, Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol.

Mr Russell Harrison who has been the Executive Director of Operations at Western Health has been appointed the new CEO of the health service having been acting in the position since Alex Cockram stepped down.

Ms Deborah Willcox has been appointed CEO of Northern Sydney Local Health District, leaving her position as Director of Operations at Sydney Local Health District and General Manager of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Current the Senior Pro Vice Chancellor (Planning and Resources) at the University of Cambridge, Professor Duncan Maskell  has been appointed the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Melbourne, commencing October 2018.

Ms Mignon McDonald has been appointed Nurse Unit Manager-Maternity at St John of God Geelong, moving from her position at the Ashford Hospital

Mr Derek Bryan has taken up an appointment at the Melanoma Institute Australia as its inaugural Head of Education.

Mr Andrew Newton is leaving his role as General Manager of Westmead and Auburns Hospitals to become the new CEO at Southern NSW Local Health District.

Mr Craig Brake has been appointed CEO of UnitingCare Queensland, where he was previously the Board Chair.

Ms Clementina Singh joins Sydney Ultrasound for Women as their Sydney Operations Manager leaving her role at Genea as Clinical Project Manager.

Ms Natasha Toohey previously Divisional Director Aged Care & Sub Acute Services at Western Health has been appointed the new Executive Director of Operations.

Mr Michael Broadbent is joining QScan Radiology as the Group Procurement Manager leaving his position as National Pre-Contract and Bid Manager at Sonic HealthPlus.

Mr Joe Martorana will be take up the position of General Manager Medical Centres at Fullerton Health, having worked for IPN for 10 years then most recently as COO at Opera Australia.

Professor Alessandra Quaranto, having left his position at the University of Western Australia is now Professor of Periodontology at Griffith University.

Professor Geoff McColl is leaving the University of Melbourne where he is currently the Head of School of Medicine, to become the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland.
