Who’s Moving June 2019 tracks who has moved careers across the Healthcare, Healthcare Academia and Not-for-profit sectors, globally. At Ccentric we have had the pleasure of working with excellent candidates over the last month and would like to congratulate the following on their new positions.

Professor Rhonda McInnes is making the move from Scotland where she was Association Professor of Maternal & Child Health at Edinburgh Napier University, to the Gold Coast where she is joining Griffith University as Professor of Maternal and Child Health.

Also making the move from Edinburgh, Sir John Savill is moving to Melbourne to take up the position of Executive Director at the Melbourne Academic Centre for Health. He has most recently been the Vice Principal and Head of College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.

Associate Professor Simon Denny has joined Mater Group as the Director, Mater Adult Health Centre Brisbane (MYAHCB). Associate Professor Denny has been in Auckland at both Kidzfirst Children’s Hospital and the University of Auckland.

Mr Paul Crowe has been appointed General Manager at Fairfield Hospital, leaving his position as Acting General Manager, The Royal Hospital for Women.

Ms Sarah Polhill has been appointed Chief Information Officer at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, moving across from the Royal Australian Mint.

Mr Dallas Leon, former CEO of Gidgee Healing has been appointed Chair of the Western Queensland Primary Health Network, the first Indigenous person to appointed a PHN Board chair.

Professor Paul Mazerolle, Pro Vice Chancellor of Arts, Education and Law at Griffith University, has been appointed President and Vice Chancellor at the University of New Brunswick, in Canada.

Ms Frances Driver has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer at Barwon Health. Ms Driver has previously worked as CEO at the Country Fire Authority, the Department of Health Victoria and Department of Premier and Cabinet Victoria.

Mr Paul Geddes previously the CEO at Beleura and Peninsula Private Hospitals is the new General Manager at Frankston Private Hospital.

Professor Martin Wullschleger has been appointed the new Clinical Director of Surgical, Anaesthetics & Procedural Services at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. Professor Wullschleger also has an appointment at Griffith University.

Mr Kieran Kinsella who has been Executive Director, Rural and District Services at Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service has moved to Metro South Health as Executive Director, Addictions and Mental Health.

Dr Ren Yi has been appointed the new Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) at the University of Southern Queensland, leaving his role at Macquarie University as Executive Director of Research Training and International Research Training Partnerships.

Ms Linda Mellors will be leaving Mercy Health in August to become the Chief Executive Officer of Regis Healthcare. Ms Mellors has been the Chief Executive of Healthcare Services as well as Chief Operating Officer at Mercy Health.
