As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) looks after the health and wellbeing of more than 384,000 people living in rural, remote and concentrated suburban areas across the Penrith, Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains and Lithgow local government areas.

With a high-growth young population, Ccentric is working with NBMLHD to search for a new Clinical Director - Women’s Health, who will lead the Women’s Health service of NBMLHD into the next stage, equipped with an international standard facility, passionate and experienced medical staff and research and education foundation.

With its LHD wide responsibilities, this position has dual reporting lines to the Deputy General Manager of Nepean Hospital for day-to-day responsibilities as the Clinical Director of Nepean Hospital and the Director of Hospital Services for the management of Stream functions as part of a Networked arrangement across the Local Health District.

The Clinical Director will work with Heads of Departments and senior medical staff for the provision of safe, effective and efficient clinical service through leadership and management. You will contribute to and implement the strategic direction of the Division, Stream and as part of a Network, promulgate clinical governance accountabilities for medical staff to ensure the development and implementation of local clinical policy to meet clinical needs, and manage human, physical and financial resources.
