Ccentric is pleased to be engaged by Albury Wodonga Health to conduct the search for a Director of Clinical Safety & Quality.
Albury Wodonga Health is a unique cross-border healthcare service spanning the border of Victoria and New South Wales providing public health care to a population of approximately 290,000. As the second largest regional health service in Victoria, AWH has a total of 343 hospital beds across the two hospital campuses (Albury and Wodonga) and employs over 3,300 staff and has 174 registered volunteers. In the year of 2022-2023, AWH provided health care to approximately 40,000 patients and about 1,700 newborn babies.
As the Director of Clinical Safety & Quality, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the safety, quality, clinical risk, and improvement functions across Albury Wodonga Health. Key to the role will be embedding a safety and quality framework that promotes and supports the delivery of contemporary, evidence-based, person-centred care.
You will provide expert advice across the organisation on maintaining and improving patient safety and clinical quality systems, working in partnership with relevant stakeholders to ensure best practice standards for clinical practice are established and maintained.
You will present as a role model with the ability to cultivate strong relationships and influence a group to actively promote a safety culture aligned with the values of Albury Wodonga Health.
