The Role

Being a Divisional Director in Women’s and Children’s Services brings substantial opportunity with significant responsibility and accountability of a service that covers Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Services for the community.

Reporting to and working collaboratively with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer, the Divisional Director in Women’s and Children’s Services provides clinical leadership for the Directorate to ensure effective operational service delivery and provide support for clinical staff through clinical governance, education and research structures in the directorate that link with HHS Clinical Governance systems and other service lines. You will partner with the CNMO, Medical, Surgery and Diagnostics Divisions and community to develop, lead, implement and report on Operational Plans in line with the Strategic Plan.

In addition to your clinical and professional expertise, your skills in managing people, leadership and sustainable financial decision accountability would be a key component to the success of the role.
