We are delighted to once again partner with a national private hospital group in the search and selection of an experienced General Manager (GM) for a hospital in Perth. As a part of a network of hospitals, the successful candidate will join a collaborative, supportive and patient-focused organisation at an exciting time.
- Western Australia’s leading private provider of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery supported by the largest private Critical Care Unit.
- Medical/surgical private hospital with circa 180 beds; other specialities include orthopaedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery and general surgery.
- Lead all aspects of hospital performance to ensure the hospital meets its clinical, operational, business and workforce objectives, and to ensure the hospital delivers exceptional care.

Reporting to the State Manager (QLD/NT/WA) the GM will be responsible for working collaboratively to:
- Execute corporate strategy by delivering strategically aligned services.
- Delivering commercial outcomes of the hospital through daily management of hospital performance, OPEX and Capex budgets and operationalisation of health fund negotiations.
- Build a team that is high-performing, informed, adaptive and values-led.
- Establish, grow and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, e.g. VMOs. Identify, recruit and deliver an experience that retains and grows VMOs, government and public hospital leaders.
- Prepare and execute capital requests and business cases;
- Drive sustainable transformation and change implementation (including process improvement).
