Who’s Moving April 2021

Who’s Moving April 2021 tracks who has moved careers across the healthcare, academic healthcare, life sciences, not-for-profit, human services and digital health sectors, globally. At Ccentric we have had the pleasure of working with an excellent group of candidates over the last month and would like to congratulate the following on their new positions.

Ms Rebecca Leon as been appointed as the Director, People & Culture at South Western Sydney Local Health District, following her time acting in the role.

Ms Bettina McMahon has joined Healthdirect Australia as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently Bettina has been at the Australian Digital Health Agency as Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Ms Ekaterina Mikhalchenkova has joined Healthscope Hospitals NSW/ACT as the new Finance Manager for Sydney South West Private Hospital, leaving her role as the Finance & Administration Manager for The Sydney Private Hospital.

Ms Lisa McVeigh has been appointed as the Finance Manager, Campbelltown Private Hospital. She joins Healthscope Hospitals NSW/ACT from her prior role as the Finance Manager, Westmead Rehabilitation and Hirondelle Private Hospital.

Mr Suchit Handa will commence at Murrumbidgee Local Health District as the General Manager, Griffith Hospital. Suchit joins MLHD from his current position as the Director Corporate Services for Fairfield Hospital.

Ms Vicki Charters has been appointed as the Site Manager/Director of Nursing & Midwifery for South East Regional Hospital (Bega). She joins Southern NSW Local Health District from WA Country Health Service where she was the Director of Nursing & Midwifery at Bunbury Hospital.

Ms Katja Schwerin has been appointed as the Director of Nursing at Griffith Hospital, joining Murrumbidgee Local Health District from her current role at Bowral & District Hospital.

Other People on the Move

Mr Cameron Goodyer has returned to Austin Health after his time at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne where he has been Executive Director Acute Operations since 2018. Cameron rejoins Austin Health as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO. Replacing Cameron at St Vincent’s is Ms Nicole Tweddle who has been the COO at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Professor Scott Bowman will commence at Charles Darwin University as Vice-Chancellor and President in May 2021. Professor Bowman will join CDU from his currently position as Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Western Sydney University.

Ms Joanne Reed has joined HammondCare as Chief People Officer, leaving her role at NAB where she has been Chief People Officer Enabling Units since 2019.

Ms Kym Shreeve has been appointed CEO of Minda following her time acting in the role. Prior to joining Minda, Kym has held roles with Bedford Group, SA Water, and Endeavour Foundation.

Mr Cameron Holland has been appointed the first CEO for Ryman Healthcare in Australia. Mr Holland has most recently been CEO of Luxury Escapes, and was with Australian Unity for 5 years prior.

Associate Professor Faye McMillan  currently the Director, Djirruwang Program at Charles Sturt University is taking on two new roles; Deputy National Rural Health Commissioner and joining the School of Population Health at the University of New South Wales.

Ms Kerryn Dillon has left TLC Healthcare where she has been General Manager People & Culture and Chief People & Culture Officer; joining PriceWaterhouseCoopers as Director Health and Wellbeing.

Mr Ian Fuller has joined Ability Options as Chief Human Resources Officer leaving the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network where he has been Executive Director of Workforce since 2012.

Ms Catherine Murray has joined Healthdirect Australia as Manager, Clinical Governance & Quality. Catherine has most recently been Clinical Director of National Home Nurse.

Ms Robin Haberecht has moved to Canberra to become General Manager at Calvary Public Hospital Bruce, leaving Calvary Riverina where she has been General manager since 2016.

Mr Greg Brylski has moved from his role as General Manager at Griffith Base Hospital joining Calvary Riverina as General Manager.

Ms Sarah Coleman has commenced as Hospital Coordinator at Sydney Adventist Hospital. Sarah has been a NUM there since 2019 and was previously Assistant Director of Clinical Services as St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney.

Ms Bronwyn Jenner has left her role at Nexus Day Hospitals to join Virtus Health as General Manager Day Hospitals.
