Who’s Moving March 2019 tracks who has moved careers across the Healthcare, Healthcare Academia and Not-for-profit sectors, globally. At Ccentric we have had the pleasure of working with excellent candidates over the last month and would like to congratulate the following on their new positions.

Recent Placements

Ms Jude Constable is taking the permanent position of Director of Clinical Operations within Southern NSW Local Health District after acting in the role since July 2018.

Ms Linda Soars is the new Clinical Associate Director, Acute Care Children & Older People at the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation. Ms Soars has been with ACI in a number of roles, most recently as Acting Clinical Executive Director CATALYST.

Professor Rowena Barrett has moved into the position of Executive Director, Entrepreneurship for QUT Business School, she has previously been Head of School of Management within QUT Business School.

Dr Peter Steer has moved to Mater Group as Chief Executive Officer, leaving his position of Chief Executive of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) in London.

Mr Walter Kmet has moved into the position of CEO of Macquarie University Hospital replacing Carol Bryant who will now retire from the CEO position. Mr Kmet is leaving his position of 7 years as CEO of WentWest health services.

Professor Sophia Zoungas has taken over as the new Head of School at Monash University’s School of Public Health. Professor Zoungas is an endocrinology academic with experience at The George Institute for Global Health and Head of the Division of Metabolism, Ageing and Genomics and Monash University.

Ms Sue-Anne Redmond has joined the Clinical Excellence Commission as Director of Clinical Governance, leaving her position as General Manager, Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals.

Dr Emma McCahon has left her role at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network as Director of Clinical Operations, moving to Western Sydney Local Health District as the Executive Director of Medical Services.

Dr Mark Simpson has joined eHealth (NSW Health) as Chief Clinical Information Officer. Dr Simpson has left the UK where his most recent position was Digital Director at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Ms Nadine De Villa-Le has left St John of God Healthcare where she was Group Finance Officer, to join Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District as Director of Finance.

Dr Alison Dwyer, Chief Medical Officer at Northern Health has moved to Eastern Health as the new Chief Medical Officer and Executive Director Research.

Ms Emma Poland has started as Regional Operations Manager for Calvary Health Care Adelaide. Ms Poland was previously the Director of Finance at Calvary North Adelaide and has been most recently acting General Manager of Calvary Central Districts Hospital.

Dr David Tulloch who has been Director of Medical Services at Armidale Hospital has moved to Murrumbidgee Local Health District as Director of Medical Services.
