Who’s Moving October 2019

Who’s Moving October 2019 tracks who has moved careers across the healthcare, academic healthcare, life sciences, not-for-profit, human services and digital health sectors, globally. At Ccentric we have had the pleasure of working with an excellent group of candidates over the last month and would like to congratulate the following on their new positions.

Professor Joshua Burns has been appointed the new Head of School and Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Sydney, commencing January 2020. He will be leaving his role as Associate Dean of Research within the Faculty.

Mr Peter Sexton, formerly the CFO at Ramsay Pharmacy Group is the new CFO for the Vision Eye Institute.

Ms Jenny Patton has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer at Healthscope, leaving her role at the Australian Digital Health Agency as General Manager Strategic Service Design and Delivery.

Professor Anton Middelberg has been announced as the new Deputy Vice Chancellor and Vice President of Research at the University of Adelaide, leaving his role as Executive Dean of the University’s Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences.

Mr Damien Green has been appointed the new CEO of eHealth Queensland as well as CIO, leaving his role as CIO at Gold Coast HHS and Executive Director of Robina Hospital.

Ms Suzanne Greenwood has left her position as CEO of Catholic Health Australia to become the new CEO of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia.

Mr Michael Kalimnios who has most recently been the acting CFO at Vision Eye Institute has been appointed the new CEO of Albury Wodonga Health.

Mr Troy Trgetaric, currently the Director of Corporate Services at Tresillian Family Centres has been appointed the new General Manager of Wagga Wagga Base Hospital within Murrumbidgee LHD.

Mr Jamie Osmond currently the Head of Sales ASPAC at Agfa HealthCare has been promoted to Managing Director ASPAC.

Mr Michael Walsh has joined Powerhouse Partners as a Partner following his departure from Queensland Health as Director-General.

Ms Helen Mason, currently the CEO of Bay of Plenty District Health Board in New Zealand has been appointed to the Department of Health Victoria as Executive Director, Health Service Policy & Commissioning.

Ms Jen Rossiter has started her new role as Workforce Strategy Senior Director at Queensland Health, leaving the Department of Communities, Disability Services and Seniors where she has recently been the Acting Deputy Director General.

Former CEO Aged Care at St Vincent’s Health Australia, Mr John Leahy has been appointed CEO of Mercy Partners (formerly Catholic Health Partners).

Mr Nigel Fidgeon has taken up the role of Chief Executive Officer at the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, leaving his previous role as CEO of Merri Health.

Dr Leif Lundin has moved from the Research Institutes of Sweden where he was Head of Department Agrifood and Bioscience to join the CSIRO as Head of Food Innovation Centre.

Dr Vikas Wadhwa has been appointed Executive Director Medical Services and Clinical Governance at Peninsula Health. Dr Wadhwa has been working in private practice as well as having an Adjunct appointment at Monash University and Conjoint Clinical appointment at Deakin University.
